Ireland hooker Ronan Kelleher to miss remainder of Six Nations tournament

Ireland hooker Ronan Kelleher will miss the remainder of the Six Nations competition following a shoulder injury.

The 24-year-old sustained the blow during the second round of the competition against France last weekend where he was replaced in the 25th minute.

The Leinster hooker has been instrumental for Ireland since his international debut in February 2020 and was their top-try scorer in 2021 with six touchdowns from 10 games.

He was also selected in the British and Irish Lions squad for the 2021 tour of South Africa but did not feature in any of the three tests.

Ireland are positioned third in the Six Nations table with a win and a defeat in two games. They will be locking horns with Italy in the third round at Aviva Stadium on 27th February.
