Manu Tuilagi has suffered another injury setback forcing him to be withdrawn from England's training squad ahead of their summer series Tests.

The 30-year-old has played three times for his club Sale Sharks since sustaining an Achilles injury in September and was named in the updated 36-man England squad by Eddie Jones recently.

However, he has now pulled out of the preparations for the games against Scotland A, USA and Canada after having a knock during Sale's Premiership semi-final defeat against Exeter last weekend.

Even though the nature of Tuilagi's injury is not revealed, it is understood that he will be spending time on the sidelines for further assessment.

Meanwhile, Northampton's Fraser Dingwall has been called up to the England squad as Tuilagi's replacement.

England A will be facing their Scotland counterparts at Mattioli Woods Welford Road on 27th June following which England will lock horns with USA and Canada on 4th and 10th July respectively.
