Harlequins winger Louis Lynagh signs new long-term contract

Harlequins have confirmed that winger Louis Lynagh has penned a new long term deal with the Gallagher Premiership club.

Son of rugby legend and former Australian international Michael Lynagh, Louis is a product of Harlequins Academy and went on to make his senior debut during the last game of the 2019/20 season against Leicester Tigers. He has made five starts for the club this season in which he scored two tries.

“It’s fantastic to be able to sign a new deal with Quins. It’s been great to have the opportunity to get out there in the Premiership in the last two months, and I’m looking forward to more," he told the official website of the club.

“There is a lot of competition for places in the outside back unit here, which is driving standards. It’s a great place for me to continue developing my game.

“There’s a great feel around the squad at the moment. It’s a team full of potential and we know this group has the ability to go out there and win silverware. That’s something I’m excited to be a part of.”

Harlequins are positioned third in the Gallagher Premiership table with six victories from 11 matches and will face Northampton next on 7th March.
