Glasgow Warriors have announced that Argentine winger Facundo Cordero will join the club at the conclusion of the 2022/23 season.

Cordero started his career with Argentine club Regatas Bella Vista in 2017 and also featured for Jaguares XV and Ceibos before joining Exeter Chiefs in 2020.

Since heading to the Sandy Park, the 24-year-old went on to make 33 appearances scoring eight tries across all the competitions.

“I’m very happy to be joining the boys here for the rest of the season,” Cordero told glasgowwarriors.org.

“I’ve really enjoyed getting to know everyone so far, and I’m keen to get some game time for this club.

“Having four fellow Argentinians here already really helped me out – the guys came and picked me up from the airport, and they’ve already acted like my family since I arrived!

“I’ve already had some good chats with Franco and the coaches to understand what they want from me – I can’t wait to get started.”

Glasgow are positioned eighth in the United Rugby Championship table with 10 wins from 18 matches.
