London Irish have secured the signing of lock George Nott ahead of the 2019/20 season.

Nott made his professional rugby debut with Sale Sharks in 2013 and has made 36 appearances for the club since then including 14 Premiership matches.

The 23-year-old also had loan stints with Chester and Fylde while representing England at Under 18 and Under 20 levels.

“I am excited to have made the move to London Irish and have enjoyed my first week at the club." he told the official website of the club.

"I am looking forward to putting on the jersey and representing London Irish this season.”

London Irish director of rugby Declan Kidney is confident that Nott's addition will bolster the squad.

“George is a strong addition to our squad and will add to the competition for places as we edge towards the start of the season.”
