France coach Guy Noves has named a 28-man squad for their upcoming tour of Argentina scheduled to be played in June.

The squad contains as many as 12-uncapped players in it and no players from Clermont, Toulon, Montpellier or Racing 92 were considered as they will be competing in the Top14 play-offs that clashes with the two-Test series.

After naming an initial 17-man squad, Noves has added 11 more players following the Top 14 quarter-finals between Montpellier-Castres and Racing 92-Toulouse last weekend.

The squad is predominantly dominated by the contingents from Stade Francais (7), Bordeaux-Begles (6) and Toulouse (5), who form 18 out of the 28 players combined.

In the 48 games played between the two countries previously, France have won 34 while Argentina have won 13 and one ended in a draw.

In Argentina, France have a winning percentage of 71.66 after winning 21 out of the 30 encounters prior to this but have managed to upstage the Pumas on just one occasion in the last six games.

The two Tests will be played on 19th and 25th June.
