France name 31-man squad ahead of Six Nations game against Scotland

France have recalled tighthead prop Demba Bamba in the 31-man squad that will be in contention to take on Scotland in the third round of the Six Nations.

Bamba last played for France during the Autumn Nations Cup last year and will look to add to his 14 Test caps. He has replaced Dorian Aldegheri in the squad.

The squad also sees two more additions with Toulon duo Jean-Baptiste Gros and Swan Rebbadj included in the place of Hassane Kolingar and Baptiste Pesenti respectively.

Romain Ntamack and Virimi Vakatawa could be in contention to return before the end of the competition after resuming training with their respective clubs.

Meanwhile, FFR had confirmed that head coach Fabien Galthie, assistant coach William Shervat and another staff member were tested positive for Covid-19 and are currently isolated from the remainder of the squad.

France hold the top place in the Six Nations table after beating Italy and Ireland in the opening two rounds.
