Saracens' Alex Lozowski will miss England's autumn international opening game against South Africa on 3rd November after his ban was extended.

The 25-year-old was initially handed a two-week ban after he was proved guilty for dangerously entering a ruck during the opening round of the European Champions Cup game against Glasgow Warriors on 14th October and was forced to miss the second round clash against Lyon.

Just as Lozowski was set to return for England's opening game of the November series against the Boks after missing the second week of action against Leicester Tigers in the Premiership Rugby Cup game this weekend, the EPCR chose to update its ruling extending the ban by an additional week.

Lozowski has played four Tests for England with all of it coming in 2017 and has featured in 64 Premiership games for Saracens and Wasps combined.

Following the clash against South Africa on 3rd November, England will face world champions All Blacks, Japan and Australia on 10th, 17th and 24th November respectively at Twickenham Stadium.
