England U20 head coach Steve Bates has made three changes to the starting line-up to take on Italy in the fourth round of the U20 Six Nations.

James Scott comes into the second row in place of Alex Coles, while Rus Tuima gets a first U20 start having been named at number eight with Tom Willis switching to blindside flanker.

Tom Seabrook comes in at outside centre, replacing the injured Connor Doherty while Willis will captain the side for a second-successive match.

England’s front row and halfback pairing are unchanged, as is the back three.

The game will be played at Bedford’s Goldington Road on Friday as England seek their second win in the tournament after defeats to Ireland and Wales in the first and third rounds respectively that sees them at fourth position - one above Italy, who have also managed a solitary win.
