England head coach Eddie Jones ends self-imposed media ban

England head coach Eddie Jones has ended his media ban only four days after imposing it upon himself.

Jones stated in the aftermath of the 21-10 victory over Ireland at Twickenham on Saturday that he would not speak to the press due to the reaction to comments he made over the welfare of fly-half Johnny Sexton.

During a feisty exchange with journalists, Jones defended his claim that the parents of Irish fly-half Sexton "would be worried" about the whiplash injury he suffered against France.

But having vowed that he would not appear again until Friday week - the eve of the title showdown against Wales - the Australian on Wednesday conducted an interview with the union's internal media.
