Dragons confirm departure of Dean Ryan

Dragons have confirmed that director of rugby Dean Ryan has left the club with immediate effect.

Ryan joined Dragons in 2019 and had coaching stints with Bristol Rugby, Gloucester, Scotland, Worcester Warriors and Barbarians.

The Welsh province had a tough campaign in the ongoing United Rugby Championship with three wins from 11 matches while they have won and lost a game apiece in the European Challenge Cup.

"We thank Dean for his contribution and wish him every future success," said Dragons RFC Chairman David Buttress.

Dragons will be facing Bulls in the 14th round of the United Rugby Championship at Rodney Parade on 7th January.
