Scorecard

Defending champions Saracens have continued their unbeaten run in the ongoing European Champions Cup after thrashing Sale Sharks 50-3 at Allianz Park on Saturday.

The hosts took an impressive 23 points lead at the end of the first-half after outside-centre Marcelo Bosch (16) and right-wing Sean Maitland (25) scored tries along with fly-half Owen Farrell slotting the two conversions in addition to three penalties. Bosch also slotted a penalty at the concluding minute of the first-half.

In response, the visitors managed to score just three points after fly-half Aj MacGinty's successful 11th minute penalty kick.

The Sarries completely dominated the second-half. Hooker Jamie George (46), Maitland (54) scored his double, left-wing Chris Wyles (50) and Barrington (72) crossed over for tries. Replacement fly-half Alex Lozowski could only convert two out of four tries.

The visitors drew a complete blank in the second-half as Sarries bagged a comfortable win.

The Sharks will now host Sarries in the reverse fixture next Sunday.
