Saracens have confirmed the return of winger Deborah Wills ahead of the 2025/26 Premiership Women’s Rugby season.

The experienced back re-joins the North London club after eight years away, having played for Worcester Warriors, Bristol Bears, and represented Great Britain in the Sevens programme.

Wills began her rugby journey with Bristol before moving to Saracens at the age of 21, where her performances earned her a place in the England Sevens squad. She went on to win a bronze medal with Team England at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

Following her international sevens career, Wills competed in the Premiership Women’s Rugby league for Worcester Warriors and most recently for Bristol Bears.

Her return to Saracens sees her back at StoneX Stadium, where she will look to make a strong impact in the upcoming campaign.

Saracens Director of Rugby Alex Austerberry praised the signing, noting Wills’ pace and proven ability to score.

“Deborah returns to the club to offer quality and experience. She has hit the ground running in pre-season and is looking very sharp. Her contributions will no doubt be invaluable over the course of the season,” he said.

Wills expressed her excitement about rejoining the club where she enjoyed early career success.

“I’m excited to be returning to such a prestigious and established club where I have many great memories. I’m looking forward to getting stuck into the season with the players and supporters,” she said.
