Dan Biggar makes Northampton debut as Saints complete 26-13 win over Ospreys in pre-season friendly

Wales international Dan Biggar played his first game for Northampton Saints as English Premiership side completed a 26-13 victory over Ospreys in the pre-season friendly in Bridgend.

The 28-year-old turned up against his former side but missed his only kick at goal after coming in the second half.

The game also saw England international James Haskell featuring for Northampton Saints after switching from Wasps ahead of the 2018/19 season.

Ollie Sleightholme (19), David Ribbans (27), James Fish (30) and Api Ratuniyarawa (53) all scored tries for Saints with James Grayson converting three out it to take the score to 26 points and in contrast, Ospreys managed to respond with a last-minute touchdown from Ifan Phillips.

Sam Davies also kicked a couple of penalties but Ospreys were totally dominated on Saturday by Northampton Saints.

Northampton Saints will now head back to Wales at Rodney Parade to take on Dragons on 18th before returning back to Franklin's Gardens to host Glasgow Warriors on 24th August ahead of the 2018/19 Gallagher Premiership season.
