Scarlets have confirmed the signing of Wales international loose-head prop Corey Domachowski from Cardiff Rugby.

Corey Domachowski Signs For Scarlets

Domachowski joins Scarlets after making 136 appearances for Cardiff Rugby and earning 10 caps for Wales since his Test debut in the summer of 2023.

His arrival gives Scarlets an established front-row option with experience in the URC, Champions Cup and international rugby.

The prop is expected to link up with the Scarlets squad this summer, adding depth and proven quality to a forward unit that continues to evolve.

Wales Prop Corey Domachowski Career Record

A product of the Cardiff pathway, Domachowski has developed into one of the more experienced Welsh props in the professional game.

He featured in four of Wales’ five matches at the 2023 Rugby World Cup and also played against Scotland, England, Ireland and France during the 2024 Six Nations.

Scarlets Strengthen Front Row Options

Domachowski said he felt this was the right point in his career for a new challenge and described Scarlets as a club with passion, history and a strong community connection.

“I’m at a point in my career where I need a new challenge and this is one I’m extremely excited about.

“Scarlets are a club with a lot of passion, a proud history and a strong connection to their community which really stood out to me.

“Leaving Cardiff Rugby after more than 10 years obviously isn’t easy and I am hugely grateful to Cardiff and all the supporters for everything they’ve given me. "

Scarlets interim director of rugby Nigel Davies said the signing adds exactly the kind of high-level experience the club needs as it continues to build.

“Corey brings proven experience at the highest level, in the URC, Champions Cup and international game and that’s exactly what we need as we continue to build.

“He’s a strong set-piece operator, a physical carrier and, importantly, someone who understands what it takes to compete consistently at the top end of the game".
