Sale Sharks winger Chris Ashton has been named in England's starting line-up for the first time in four years as head coach Eddie Jones has confirmed that matchday squad to take on All Blacks at Twickenham on Saturday.

Ashton replaces Exeter's Jack Nowell with the latter moving to the bench.

The 31-year-old made his first appearance for the red rose team since 2014 when he came off the bench in the final quarter during the 12-11 victory over South Africa last weekend and now is picked in the starting XV for the first time under Jones.

The England boss has also made two other changes to the line-up with prop Ben Moon replacing Alec Hepburn while Sam Underhill takes the place of injured Tom Curry.

There is also another change on the bench with Zach Mercer making way for Courtney Lawes while Manu Tuilagi misses out on the matchday 23 squad.

Both the teams have faced each other 40 times with New Zealand winning 32 out of it while England emerged victorious just seven times with one ending in a draw.
