Scorecard

Cardiff Blues came up with a 10-try performance as they dominated Calvisano 64-3 in their European Challenge Cup encounter at Cardiff Arms Park on Saturday.

Despite the win, Cardiff Blues failed to make it to the knock out stage with Pau keeping their hope alive with win over Leicester Tigers while Calvisano finished the tournament with six defeats.

Nicolo Casilio's sixth minute penalty goal were the only points for the visitors in the game while Lewis Jones scored back to back tries in the 3rd and 11th minutes while Ethan Lewis (18'), Aled Summerhill (21') and Olly Robinson (31') followed the suit while Jason Tovey kicked five conversions to make the scoreline 35-3.

The trend continued in the second half for the Welsh side as Shane Lewis-Hughes and Lloyd Williams also crossed over and despite a sin-bin to Filo Paulo in the 57th minute, they did not concede a point.

In a tough closing stage, Calvisano lost Kayle van Zyl to red-card and the Blues ensured they completed a 61-point win following tries from Will Boyde, Jones and Williams.
