Munster Rugby have confirmed a two-year contract extension for Ireland international winger Calvin Nash, with the new deal keeping him at the province until at least 2028.

Calvin Nash Contract Extension Confirmed

Nash reached another milestone for Munster in Saturday’s crucial United Rugby Championship win over Benetton, scoring a try on his 99th appearance for the province.

The Limerick native came through the local rugby pathway, playing school rugby for Crescent College Comprehensive and club rugby with Young Munster. He also joined the Munster Academy in 2016.

Calvin Nash Munster Career Highlights

Nash made his senior Munster debut against Edinburgh in February 2017 and scored the first of his 28 tries for the province later that year against Zebre. He made his Champions Cup debut in January 2020 against Ospreys and continued to build his role within the team over the following seasons.

His standout campaign came in the 2022-23 season when he became a first-choice winger and scored seven tries in 17 appearances. That run included a try in Munster’s URC Grand Final win in Cape Town.

Calvin Nash Ireland Career And Recent Form

Nash has earned 12 Ireland caps since making his international debut against Italy in August 2023. He played a key role in Ireland’s 2024 Six Nations title-winning campaign, scoring on his first international start against France and starting all five matches in the tournament.

Although injuries have reduced his game time this season, he has still scored two tries in eight appearances, including his latest effort against Benetton.
