A weather Wednesday rather than a rugby Wednesday! One high profile game cancelled between University of Bath and Cardiff University. The games that did go ahead allowed Northumbria to get back to winning ways after two early season losses, their game against Nottingham University finished 29-0.

One game we highlighted was Leeds Met versus Loughborough, our Aussie correspondent was there but is still defrosting!

As this happens we will post some footage of a convincing 30-0 victory to the Leeds team. Their neighbours, the University of Leeds were facing the reigning champions and it was to be Durham that prevailed 17-0.

In Premier South A, there was a resounding victory for Exeter University against Cardiff Met: 63-16.

Up the M5, it was Bristol University who came out on top against Swansea. In Premier South B, there were some great games and our feeling is this could be one of the best divisions for rugby union this year.

Reading 1sts defeated Cardiff Uni 2nds in a close 13-10 battle. Close to Twickenham, it was St. Marys 14 to SW Pontypridd&Cardiff 9.

Elsewhere, Bath 2nds defeated Hartpury 2nds 20 to 7. Finally it was Exeter2nd who came out winners against Cardiff Met 2nd: 8-7
