English Premiership club Bristol have shown interest in signing of South Africa international Eben Etzebeth according to reports.

Andy Robinson's men have struggled ever since they gained the promotion to the Aviva Premiership this season after losing all the seven games they played. Even in the European Challenge Cup they lost both their encounters and are desperate to find form.

With Saracens' talk with the Springboks lock did not go through, Bristol now emerge front-runners to sign the 25-year-old with his present contract with the Super Rugby club Stormers due to expire with 2016.

However, Etzebeth made it clear that his current focus will remain only on the upcoming internationals for South Africa following which he will take a call on his club.

"I'm focusing on Saturday's game against the Barbarians and then the end-of-the-year tour. After that, nothing is pen on paper or certain," he said.

"I'm loving being here in England and the weather is better than I thought.

"I'm also off to the Arsenal on Sunday - I'm a big Arsenal fan so I'm looking forward to the derby.

"Saturday will be my first time playing at Wembley and I'm excited about that."

Following their clash against Barbarians on 5th November, South Africa will take on England, Italy and Wales.
