Bristol Bears winger Siva Naulago has been suspended for three games following his red-card incident in the recently concluded Gallagher Premiership game against London Irish.

The 30-year-old was sent-off in the 59th minute during the encounter at Ashton Gate for a high tackle on Exiles full-back Henry Arundell.

Naulago appeared before a three-person independent disciplinary panel comprising of Sir James Dingemans (chair) along with Martyn Wood and Phil Davies and was proved guilty of breaching World Rugby Law 9.13.

The panel has handed the rugby league convert an option to reduce the ban to two weeks if he successfully undergoes the Coaching Intervention Programme.

As a result, Naulago will miss the Premiership games against Worcester Warriors and Wasps on 18th and 25th February respectively.

Siva Naulago will miss the following games:

18 February - Worcester Warriors v Bristol Bears
25 February - Bristol Bears v Wasps
5 March - Bath Rugby v Bristol Bears*

*player will be available for this game if the World Rugby CIP course is completed.
