Billy Searle wins Gallagher Player of Month

Leicester Tigers fly-half Billy Searle has been named Gallagher Premiership Player of the Month for January after a series of influential performances in league matches.

Searle secured the award after playing a key role in consecutive Leicester victories against Saracens and Harlequins. He contributed 20 points from the tee across the fixtures and maintained a perfect kicking record throughout the month.

His accuracy also strengthened his position among the league’s most reliable goal-kickers this season, recording a high success rate across the campaign.

Impact On Leicester Tigers Results

The fly-half earned player of the match honours in the win over Saracens and controlled field position and scoring opportunities during both matches. His performances helped Leicester secure valuable points in the Prem standings.

Searle received over half of the public vote ahead of teammate Cameron Henderson and Northampton Saints players Alex Coles and Callum Chick.

Recognition Beyond Club Level

His club form was followed by selection at representative level, where he started at fly-half for England A in a recent fixture against an Ireland XV side.
