Ben Youngs will feature as the flagship interview guest for Thrive4Life’s Men’s Health Matters campaign, bringing his personal story of rugby, pressure, resilience and health awareness to a wider workplace audience. The campaign aims to encourage men to act earlier, speak more openly and seek support when needed.
Ben Youngs Leads Men’s Health Matters Campaign
Youngs, England’s most-capped men’s rugby player, has been chosen as the central figure for the Men’s Health Matters campaign because of the depth of his personal story beyond rugby.
His career includes Leicester Tigers, England, British & Irish Lions tours and Rugby World Cup campaigns, but the campaign focuses on more than sporting achievements. It highlights themes of pressure, identity, family, leadership, support and wellbeing.
Men’s Health Awareness And Early Action
The campaign will use Youngs’ story to encourage conversations around prevention, resilience and early action. His experience shows that high performance and outward strength do not always mean someone is free from health concerns or personal pressure.
Youngs has spoken openly about personal health challenges, including a heart arrhythmia, as well as the emotional impact of serious illness and loss within his family. These experiences connect strongly with the campaign’s message that men should not delay check-ups, ignore symptoms or carry pressure silently.
Workplace Wellbeing And Support
Men’s Health Matters also links Youngs’ story to workplace wellbeing, especially in high-pressure professional environments. The campaign highlights how leadership, trust, support networks and open conversations can help people perform while also protecting their health.
Youngs’ story is being used to show that support is not a sign of weakness. Instead, the campaign frames early action, honest conversations and seeking help as essential parts of resilience.
The flagship interview is expected to focus on health, performance under pressure, leadership and the importance of not carrying everything alone.
