England international Joe Cokanasiga becomes the latest player to commit his long term future with Bath Rugby after signing a new three-year deal.
A product of London Irish academy, the 26-year-old made his senior debut with the Exiles in 2017 before switching to Bath Rugby a year later. He has overall played 82 times for Bath and will remain with them until the summer of 2027.
“I love playing for Bath. Seeing the journey we’ve been on this year compared to last is special," he told the club's official website.
“Bath has seen me grow both personally and professionally and I’m very excited for what the future holds for us as a group.”
He made his England debut against Japan in November 2018 and has 15 Test caps to his name.
“Joe has been class since I arrived at the club. He brings power, he brings speed and he brings tries," said Johann van Graan.
“He’s a brilliant human being and he fits into our club so well.”
Bath are positioned second in the Gallagher Premiership table with eight wins from 14 matches.
