Bath Rugby hooker Ross Batty is set to face disciplinary action following his recent red-card incident during the Gallagher Premiership clash against Worcester Warriors at Sixways Stadium.
The 32-year-old as sent-off in the 64th minute for a dangerous tackle on Worcester flanker Sam Lewis in the game that was won by Worcester Warriors with a 21-19 margin.
As a result, he was cited for a breach of Law 9.11 and will now appear before a three-person disciplinary committee chaired by Jeremy Summers.
The hearing will take place in Bristol at 18:30 on Tuesday.
The defeat was Bath's fifth in 12 games as they slipped to the eigth position in the Gallagher Premiership table.
