Bath and South Africa flanker Francois Louw will face a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel on Thursday over the incident involving Northampton Saints lock Courtney Lawes.

The incident occurred during the Aviva Premiership encounter between the two teams on Saturday which the Saints went on to win 15-14 at the Franklin's Gardens.

Louw was charged for making an alleged "contact with the eye(s) or eye area" and will appear before a three-man disciplinary panel headed by HHJ Euan Ambros.

Bath is currently placed ninth in the Premiership table with 43 points from 21 games and will take on Leicester Tigers on 7th May at the Recreation Ground in their final game of the season.
