Australia have confirmed their backroom staff for the upcoming season ahead of the Rugby Championship and Rugby World Cup scheduled this year.
The 12-man back room staff led by Eddie Jones will see former rugby league star Brett Hodgson assuming the role of defence coach while Neal Hatley is appointed forwards coordinator.
Brad Davis, another former rugby league player, with over 200 games playing experience will be joining as the attack coach before returning to the Exiles post the World Cup scheduled in France later this year.
Former Wallabies prop Dan Palmer and current assistant coach of Brumbies will be the line out coach while Pierre-Henry Broncan is appointed as a maul consultant.
With Nigel Ashley-Jones leaving to Scarlets, England’s former head of strength and conditioning Jon Clarke takes on a similar role under Jones with John Pryor and Warrick Harrington take in charge as speed consultant and sports scientist respectively.
“We believe we have a quality coaching staff to plan and prepare the team for a Smash and Grab campaign, winning the Bledisloe Cup and finishing winning the Rugby World Cup.," said Jones.
"It is experienced, diverse and adaptable."
