Argentina international Guido Petti to join Bordeaux Begles

Bordeaux Begles have confirmed the signing of Argentina international Guido Petti ahead of the 2020/21 season.

The 25-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the French club with an option to extend for the third season.

He will now follow the likes of Ben Tameifuna, Joseph Dweba, Ben Lam and Nathanael Hulleu in joining Bordeaux for the next season.

Petti started his professional rugby career with San Isidro Club in 2013 and also played for Pampas XV before joining Jaguares in 2016.

He featured for the Argentina Under 20 side that competed in the 2013 and 2014 IRB Junior World Championships. Petti went on to make his Argentina Test debut in 2014 and has gone on to play 53 games including 10 in the 2015 and 2019 World Cups combined.
