France managed to overcome a double try from Mark Telea as they defeated the All Blacks 27-13 in the opening game of the Rugby World Cup in Paris to take an early lead in Pool A.

Damian Penaud and Melvyn Jaminet scored tries for the hosts while Thomas Ramos kicked 17 points to hand New Zealand their first ever defeat in the Pool games of a World Cup. Here are the highlights from the encounter.
