France and Toulouse scrum-half Antoine Dupont was named the EPCR European Player of the Year after guiding his club to a fifth Champions Cup title.
Toulouse went on to edge Top14 rivals La Rochelle with a 22-17 margin in the encounter at Twickenham Stadium to win their first title since 2010.
Dupont went on to win the wins the Anthony Foley Memorial Trophy after an impressive season that saw him being the joint leader in most tries scored along with Kotaro Matsushima, Santiago Cordero and Xavier Mignot with four touchdowns apiece.
The 24-year-old also is second in most carries made with 56 behind Grégory Alldritt and tops the list for defenders beaten as well as most metres covered. He also had nine offloads in the competition - second only to Bordeaux Begles' Matthieu Jalibert.
