Alex Cuthbert to miss Wales' final two Six Nations fixtures

Wales wing Alex Cuthbert is ruled out of the final two Six Nations fixtures against Italy and France due to an injury.

The 32-year-old was amongst the replacements for the games against Ireland and Scotland but missed the England fixture due to a foot injury.

A statement released by the Welsh Rugby Union revealed that head coach Warren Gatland has not called up any replacement for Cuthbert.

Wales will be sweating on the fitness of Gareth Thomas and Owen Williams, who suffered a hip injury and a back spasm respectively.

Wales now have three defeats from as many games and now looking to avoid what would be a first clean sweep of defeats in the Six Nations since 2003.
