Wales will face all four Southern Hemisphere sides in 2016, the Welsh Rugby Union has announced.

Warren Gatland's side, who are currently ranked fourth in the world, were already scheduled to play a three-Test summer series against world champions New Zealand following the 2016 RBS 6 Nations Championship and a pre-tour friendly against England at Twickenham on May 29.

Wales will play Tests against the All Blacks in Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin from June 11-25 with a tour match against the Chiefs in Hamilton on June 14 sandwiched in between.

Autumn internationals have now been arranged against World Cup runners-up Australia (November 5) semi-finalists Argentina (November 12) and South Africa (November 26) at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

A fourth autumn fixture on November 19 will be confirmed at a later date.

A WRU statement confirming the 2016 fixture list read: "Wales will continue their mantra to test themselves against the best as they line up against all eight of their highest ranked opponents over the course of 14 fixtures next year, including facing New Zealand three times and England twice.
