Wasps prop Jeff Toomaga-Allen has been handed a three-week ban following an incident in the recently concluded Premiership Rugby Cup game against Saracens earlier in the week.
The 31-year-old was cited for striking the face of Saracens flanker Theo Dan with his forearm in the game which Wasps went on to win with a 40-21 margin.
Even though, Toomaga-Allen escaped sanctions during the game, the Judicial officer Charles Cuthbert in a statement deemed that his actions warranted a red-card.
He will now miss Premiership games against Gloucester and Worcester along with the European Challenge Cup round-of 16 clash in April.
Wasps are positioned ninth in the Gallagher Premiership table with nine victories from 19 matches.
