Talking Rugby Union (TRU) is delighted to be collaborating with freelance journalist Adam Gaston ahead of the new Champ Rugby season, as well as the upcoming BUCS Super Rugby and Women’s BUCS Super Rugby campaigns.

Adam provided TRU with excellent coverage of university rugby throughout last season, and has continued to work behind the scenes over the summer ahead of an exciting 2026/27 term.

Over the next four weeks, TRU will be sharing a selection of clips from Adam’s interviews with coaches and players from across BUCS Super Rugby (BSR) and Women’s BUCS Super Rugby (WBSR), with the full interviews available on his YouTube channel, The Ruck and Roll Show.

TRU will help promote Adam’s channel and collaborate with him on selected clips across Instagram, providing supporters with an insight into the people and stories at the top of the university game.

TRU's collaboration with The Ruck and Roll Show has already begun, with Adam’s exclusive feature interview with 2025/26 BUCS Super Rugby Player of the Season Marcus Rhodes recently published on our website.

In the interview, Rhodes discusses his move to Coventry, his ambitions in the Champ and his dream of playing in the Premiership.

TRU is pleased to be working with Adam on this unique content as it continues our long-standing commitment to championing university rugby whilst providing greater coverage and exposure to key levels of the game.
