Teboho Mohoje issued citing warning

Springboks international Teboho Mohoje has been issued with a citing commissioner warning for performing a dangerous tackle during the Rugby Championship encounter against Argentina at Padre Ernesto Martearena Stadium on Saturday.

The incident happened during the 49th minute of the game which the Pumas went on to win by 26-24.

A citing commissioner warning can be issued for incidents that are close to but does not meet the threshold for the red card.

The citing commissioner deemed the warning appropriate after reviewing the match footage.

New Zealand continue to lead the Rugby Championship table and are followed by the Springboks at second and Argentina at third. Australia are placed at the bottom after suffering defeats in both their encounters against All Blacks.
