Springboks make two late changes for All Blacks Test

South Africa have made two late changes to their starting XV for Saturday’s second Test against New Zealand in Cape Town, with Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu and Cheslin Kolbe both restored to the side.

Feinberg-Mngomezulu replaces injured Pollard

Handre Pollard had initially been named to start at fly-half after South Africa’s 33-16 defeat at Ellis Park, but a calf strain suffered during the week has ruled him out of the Cape Town Test.

Feinberg-Mngomezulu, who started the opening Test before being moved to the bench for the second encounter, will return to the No.10 jersey.

Manie Libbok has subsequently been added to the replacements to provide fly-half cover.

Cheslin Kolbe returns to Springboks team

Kolbe has also been cleared to play after recovering from the knock that forced him off during the second half in Johannesburg.

The winger replaces Kurt-Lee Arendse, who drops out of the matchday squad, while Ethan Hooker retains his place on the opposite wing.

Siya Kolisi has also been confirmed as fit and will captain the Springboks after initially being bracketed with Paul de Villiers earlier in the week.
