Head coach Gregor Townsend has made adjustments to Scotland squad ahead of their match with Argentina, bringing in props Will Hurd and Jamie Bhatti while confirming the absence of Rory Sutherland and Arron Reed.
Hurd has rejoined the squad after recovering from a shoulder injury and is expected to provide valuable front-row cover after being unavailable for recent fixtures.
Bhatti comes into the group as Sutherland is ruled out following a concussion protocol after his appearance against the All Blacks. The Scotland camp also confirmed Reed will miss the remainder of the series due to a quadriceps injury.
In addition, prop Murphy Walker has returned to his club side Glasgow Warriors having featured off the bench in Scotland’s 85-0 win over the USA.
There is no fresh update on fly-half Finn Russell, who left the field late against New Zealand with knee and ankle concerns. Townsend indicated that a final call on Russell’s availability will be made later in the week.
Following the game against Argentina on 16th November, Scotland will be locking horns against Tonga on 23rd November.
