Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend has made six changes to the starting line-up for the upcoming autumn international clash against South Africa to be played at BT Murrayfield Stadium on Saturday.

Glasgow Warriors centre Huw Jones returning is the only change in the back division and he has replaced Alex Dunbar with the latter dropping out of the matchday 23 squad.

Prop Allan Dell moves to the bench and his place in the XV has been taken by Gordon Reid, who will make his first appearance for the Dark Blues since the Six Nations tournament earlier this year.

Hooker Stuart McInally, locks Jonny Gray and Ben Toolis and back-row Hamish Watson all start for Townsend's side as Sam Skinner moves to blindside flanker.

As Matt Fagerson has not recovered from the injury that he sustained against Fiji, Ryan Wilson shifts to number eight and Ali Price gets a recall on the bench.

Following the game against the Springboks, Scotland will conclude their autumn international campaign with a clash against Argentina on 24th November.
