Bristol Bears have announced that Scotland international Magnus Bradbury will be joining the Gallagher Premiership club at the end of the 2022/23 season.

He will follow the likes of Ellis Genge and AJ MacGinty to become the third international player to head to Ashton Gate ahead of the new season.

A product of the Edinburgh Academy, Bradbury made his senior debut with the club in 2015 and has racked up over 100 appearances for them since then.

Having made his international debut for Scotland in November 2016, Bradbury has featured in 17 Tests including three games for the Dark Blues in the 2019 World Cup.

“It’s an exciting opportunity to come to Bristol and play in the Gallagher Premiership. This is a massive club with great ambitions and a world class coaching team – I’m looking forward to the challenge that awaits," he told the club's official website.

“I’d like to pay tribute to Edinburgh Rugby and my teammates, the fans and staff at the club. It’s been an incredible journey and I am grateful for the support I have received over many years.”

Bristol are positioned 10th in the Gallagher Premiership table with six wins from 17 matches.
