Scotland and British and Irish Lions centre Chris Harris has extended his stay at Gloucester after signing a new contract with the Gallagher Premiership club.
Harris has been with Gloucester since 2019 and is closing on 50 appearances for the club scoring 25 points.
Prior to his association with the Cherry and Whites, the 31-year-old featured for Newcastle Falcons while also enjoying a loan spell with Rotherham Titans in the Championship during the 2014/15 season.
His international debut for Scotland came in 2017 and has 36 caps while featuring for the British and Irish Lions during the second Test in the 2021 tour of South Africa.
Gloucester head coach George Skivington is delighted with Harris committing to the club ahead of the new season.
“Chris is one of those players who is instrumental to what we are here at Gloucester Rugby. He is hard working and has become one of the key leaders within the squad," said Skivington.
“Whether it is in attack or defence, he always leads by example and is a real sprinkle of world class talent in the group here at Kingsholm.”
Gloucester are positioned fifth in the Gallagher Premiership table with 68 points from 23 games and will face Saracens in the final round on 4th June.
