Edinburgh head coach Alan Solomon has named an unchanged side to play Cardiff Blues in what he says in a 'must-win' RaboDirect Pro12 clash tomorrow (11th April).

Edinburgh host the Blues at Meggetland fresh from a 23-19 win over the Dragons last weekend which was their first away win of the campaign.

That win kept Edinburgh's hopes of finishing in the top six alive but Solomon knows his team must beat Cardiff as they bid to close a seven-point gap to Llanelli Scarlets.

The South African said:

"There is a really good spirit building and a good sense of togetherness, and it's been positive for the squad to see that progress is being made.

"Under tough conditions they came out with a win against Dragons and I think that merited the team remaining in tact for the next match.

"This is another very important game for us. If we want to finish in the top half of the table then this is a game we have to win.

"However, as we have said all season, we must not put the cart before the horse.

"We must perform well in order to have the prospect of getting a result."
