Wasps flanker Sam Jones and London Irish lock Elliott Stooke have been cleared of the charges laid on them following their tussle in the Aviva Premiership clash on Saturday.

Stooke was charged with playing an opponent without the ball, contrary to law 10.4(f) while Jones has been charged with punching or striking, contrary to law 10.4(a) following the game which Wasps went on to win by 38-12.

Having appeared before a disciplinary panel comprising of Jeremy Summers, Becky Essex and Martyn Wood on Wednesday evening, the Rugby Football Union have confirmed "both the charges were dismissed."

This also means Jones will be available for selection ahead of Wasps' semi-final against Exeter at Sandy Park on 21st May.
