Code switch for Charnley:

Wigan Warrior Josh Charnley has been talking to Sale Sharks head coach Steve Diamond about a move across codes.

With two wingers leaving Sale (Tom Brady and Phil McKenzie), the Sharks are on the prowl to fill the void.

Earle in demand:

Exeter, Leicester, Wasps and Bath are all reportedly keen on Saracens and former England U20 speedster Nathan Earle, but the winger is currently happy to stay and fight for a 1st XV place in North London.

Parisse to stay:

Rumours have it that the Italian stalwart, Sergio Parisse has had meetings with incoming head coach Conor O'Shea.

As a result the No8 has aborted plans to retire from test rugby and will lead Italy to the 2019 RWC (June tours are a no go).

lockdown for Priestland:

Bath are alleged to be unwilling to allow Rhys Priestland to leave until a replacement is sorted.
