New Zealand claimed a 33-16 victory in Johannesburg, outscoring South Africa by five tries to one after trailing 13-12 at half-time.

The All Blacks were far more clinical after the break, punishing missed Springbok opportunities and taking control of the contest with a ruthless second-half display.

The second Test is scheduled to be played on 29th August in Cape Town.
