Harlequins have announced that versatile back Nick David has signed a new contract, securing his future with the club.

The 26-year-old becomes the eighth senior squad member to recommit to the team in recent weeks.

David, known for his electric sidestep and impressive pace, has scored 14 tries in 57 appearances since joining Harlequins from Worcester Warriors in 2021.

Comfortable playing both wing and full-back, the Redditch-born player has been a key figure at The Stoop, making a strong return from a shoulder injury that sidelined him at the end of the 2023/24 season.

This season, David has already made eight appearances, showcasing his attacking prowess by beating 16 defenders and achieving four clean breaks. His contributions continue to underline his importance to the team’s dynamic style of play.

Expressing his excitement about the new deal, David said: "I’m absolutely ecstatic to extend my time at Harlequins - it’s my home.

"The way we want to play suits my attributes, and learning from the quality coaches and players here has really accelerated my game. I’m excited to see what the future brings.”

Harlequins Head Coach Danny Wilson lauded David’s versatility and impact: "Nick has a strong running game, making him a real threat with ball in hand.

"His ability to play across the back three allows him to influence multiple areas on the pitch. He’s a diligent, hard-working player who is highly respected by the squad. We’re all thrilled he’ll remain at the club.”
