New Zealand coach Steve Hansen has made just one change to the starting lineup for the Rugby Championship game against Argentina on Saturday.

Centre Ryan Crotty returns to the starting lineup after recovering from his injury and will take the place of Anton Lienert-Brown, who now moves to the bench.

Hansen believes the current squad can only become better with more experience. However, he is also wary of the Pumas, who recently completed their maiden triumph at home over the Springboks earlier in the tournament.

"We've got a young group from an experience point of view, we've got a young group from a leadership point of view," Hansen said.

"So giving them the opportunity to keep rolling and driving things is a better reward for us than giving an individual some game time."

New Zealand are currently leading the table in the ongoing Rugby Championship with 10 points after completing back-to-back victories over Australia.

New Zealand squad: Ben Smith, Israel Dagg, Malakai Fekitoa, Ryan Crotty, Julian Savea, Beauden Barrett, Aaron Smith, Joe Moody, Dane Coles, Owen Franks, Brodie Retallick, Sam Whitelock, Jerome Kaino, Sam Cane, Kieran Read (c).

Replacements: Codie Taylor, Wyatt Crockett, Charlie Faumuina, Luke Romano, Ardie Savea, TJ Perenara, Aaron Cruden, Anton Lienert-Brown.
