Scotland 0-46 England, Hive Stadium, Edinburgh
England successfully overcame red card to Amy Cokayne as they blanked out Scotland 46-0 to maintain their perfect start in the ongoing Women's Six Nations at Hive Stadium in Edinburgh.
This is third win for England in as many games as they consolidated their position at the top while Scotland are at fifth after losing their second in three matches.
England opened their account in the 7th minute when Amy Cokayne went past a couple of defenders to touchdown but Holly Aitchison's kick drifted wide making it 0-5. They doubled their tally in the 12th minute when Sadia Kabeya released Abby Dow, who went past the final defender to dot down but once again Aitchison missed out on the extras.
England looked relentless in their attack as Maud Muir touched down from a couple of metres out but the TMO ruled it out and Cokayne was sin-binned for a dangerous tackle. Nevertheless, they made amends as Ellie Kildunne collected a kick from Meg Jones to score and Aitchison improved as John Mitchell's side raced to a 0-17 lead in the opening half.
England extended their momentum into the second half as Sadia Kabeya scored at the back of a scrum and shortly Jess Breach also went over after collecting a pass from Abby Dow to make it 0-29 by the 52nd minute. England's indiscipline costed them once again as Cokayne was sin-binned for the second time for contact with the head forcing her to leave the field with a red card.
Despite being down on numbers, England continued to press on as Breach and Kildunne completed their second while Marlie Packer, who started on the bench scored their eight try to complete a convincing victory.
