Benetton have announced the signing of former All Blacks Malakai Fekitoa ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The 30-year-old joined Munster in 2022 on a two-year deal but had limited game time prompting him to make a move to the Italian club.
He made his European debut for the Irish province last month during the tie against Toulouse and had previously featured for Auckland, Blues, Highlanders, Toulon and Wasps.
Having made his All Blacks debut in 2014, he has featured for them in 24 Tests with his last appearance coming against the Lions in 2017. He is now representing Tonga at the international level after becoming eligible under World Rugby's rules that allows the players to switch national allegiance after completing a stand-down period.
“I am very excited to join the club next season," he said.
"My family and I are very grateful for the opportunity. It's a new challenge for me in my career and I'm looking forward to giving my all and playing really well for Benetton Rugby, plus I'll be reuniting with friends I've played with in the past.
"The team is playing exciting rugby and I want to be a part of it. I hope to be able to contribute to the club on and off the pitch.”
