France's rising rugby star Louis Bielle-Biarrey has been named the Six Nations Player of the Championship, following a phenomenal tournament in which he not only dazzled fans but etched his name into history books.

At just 21 years old, Bielle-Biarrey delivered an electrifying performance, scoring eight tries—the most ever recorded by a player in a single Six Nations Championship since the format began.

The winger’s exceptional form played a critical role in France’s successful campaign, which culminated in their seventh Six Nations title.

France secured the championship with a 35-16 win over Scotland on March 16, finishing with 21 points, narrowly edging out England, who trailed by just a single point in the standings.

Bielle-Biarrey’s achievement broke the previous record of seven tries set by Ireland’s Jacob Stockdale in 2018. His clinical finishing, blistering pace, and composure under pressure won over fans across the rugby world.

The young Frenchman received the majority of the public vote from a shortlist that included England’s Tommy Freeman, Scotland’s Blair Kinghorn, and last year’s standout, Italy’s Tommaso Menoncello.

"My parents signed me up for rugby when I was 5 years old. Straight away, I really liked it, it is a childhood dream today to be able to live my passion," Bielle-Biarrey said.

He made his senior debut for France in 2023 and quickly became one of the team’s most reliable and exciting assets.
