Leicester Tigers ran impressive eight tries against Bristol Rugby at the Welford Road to complete a thumping 50-17 victory during the Aviva Premiership rugby clash on Saturday.

Bristol suffered their third consecutive defeat of the Premiership season as the Tigers sealed the bonus-point win.

Coch Mark Tainton's side were left to regret another slow start and found themselves 30 points behind within 30 minutes, a scoreline from which there was no possible comeback.

JP Pietersen (23, 28) scored twice for the Tigers and Adam Thompstone (66), Telusa Veainu (26), Pat Cilliers (11), Greg Bateman (55), Brandon O'Connor (47) and Owen Williams (15) scored a try each.

Williams managed to convert five out of the eight tries for his side.

Rob Hawkins (39) and Jamal Ford-Robinson (67) scored consolation tries for Bristol either side of half time, with fulllback Jason Woodward adding two conversions and a penalty on the sixth minute.

Widely regarded as the most competitive rugby union league in the world...it can only be the Gallagher Premiership.
